Paul came to knowledge management while working in the City of London in the mid-1990s. Since then he has led many assignments across a variety of sectors in the Americas, Africa, Asia, Europe and the Middle East, helping clients to identify and make use of the knowledge that resides inside their organisations.

Paul is an experienced advisor, practitioner, presenter, masterclass leader and lecturer and is well published. He is a member of the British Standards Institute KM Standards committee that worked on the ISO KM Standard and has written extensively on the potential value of the new standards for knowledge and information management professionals.

Paul is President Designate of the Chartered Institute for Libraries & Information Professionals, a member of the project board overseeing the development of the Chartered Knowledge Manager Practitioner Programme and was recently awarded the 2019 Walford Prize for services to the global KM Community.
